Airborne Operations Administrator

The role:

Bluesky is seeking to employ a highly motivated and enthusiastic administrator to strengthen our team. You will serve as a vital point of contact for the Operations Team 

Responsibilities: 

The responsibilities for the position of Airborne Operations Administrator include, but are not limited to:

  • Field incoming calls and deal with or redirect as appropriate. 
  • Apply for Air Traffic Control Permits and develop the necessary reports and charts 
  • Create sensor flight planning schedules 
  • Weather and tidal reporting for flight planning for pre-flight and in-flight support 
  • Liaise with the production and fulfilment departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products. 
  • Manage communications with sensor manufacturers for our maintenance programmes and other issues. 
  • Be the point of contact with aircraft operators and ensure all permissions, visas etc. are in place before project commencement. 
  • Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills. 
  • Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment. 

You will have: 

  • Good organisational skills with the capacity to multi-task 
  • Analytical, numeracy and well-developed interpersonal skills 
  • Good time management with the ability to work to deadlines 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft office  
  • Ability to adapt to new software packages

Requirements: 

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and communicate fully in English
  • Applicants must be able to pass a DBS check for airport security clearances
  • A full UK driving licence
